Compilation video footage covers the period from Nov 25 to 28, 2011. Eleven Castor wagons loaded with more than 120 tons of highly radioactive nuclear waste from the French plutonium factory La Hague have almost arrived at the nuclear interim storage site in Gorleben carrying the 44-fold amount of radioactivity released in Fukushima. Footage shows various protests and protest actions of the anti-nuclear movement and Greenpeace activists near Gorleben, a protest camp Japanese anti-nuclear activists have joined and give speeches, a press conference of Greenpeace, statements of anti nuclear protestors as well as of the Japanese anti-nuclear protestors (also with German subtitles) and various statements of Greenpeace energy experts about the illegality of the transport, the dangers of nuclear energy, nuclear transports and storage, including thermographic shots of the Castor Transport in Caen, France.
Statements: Mathias Edler (at Greenpeace press conference) Tobias Riedl and Tobias Münchmeyer, all energy experts of Greenpeace Germany (the latter also in English)
