Oil and gas company MOL group announced in early 2021 that they’re planning to drill for fossil fuels in the Őrség National Park, Hungary. Greenpeace Hungary officially joined the licensing procedure, so it will be possible for them to protest the planned drill on legal grounds.
Greenpeace Hungary visited Őriszentpéter, a village near the planned oil or gas well to discuss the case with local civilians.
