Labelling Group Action Day against Volkswagen in Germany
Throughout Germany, environmentalists from Greenpeace are continuing their protest for more climate protection at Volkswagen and a rapid phase-out of internal combustion engines. In the parking lots of VW dealerships in cities such as Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne and Dresden, they are sticking messages such as "By no means: climate pioneer", "By no means: just electric" and "By no means: clean" on diesel and gasoline vehicles on display. The stickers in DIN A3 format are environmentally friendly and can be removed without leaving any residue. In an open letter, Greenpeace activists call on VW CEO Herbert Diess to stop the development of a next-generation combustion engine.
