Protest at NRW State Chancellery against Armin Laschet's Coal Decision in Dusseldorf
Activists from Greenpeace demonstrate on the canopy of the State Chancellery against the catastrophic consequences of coal policy and the state government's decision on lignite. "Armin Laschet wants to destroy the climate and villages," warn the climate activists. Greenpeace activists protest with a banner in front of the official residence of Minister President Armin Laschet (CDU).
The climate activists warn against Laschet's decision to expand opencast lignite mines in NRW. This will destroy villages and endanger climate goals.
The activists demonstrate on the roof of the entrance portal of the Düsseldorf State Chancellery.
Other climate activists mark the ground with clean graffiti and the slogan "Kohle-Laschet" and yellow X-symbols. A 2.5 metre high yellow X flanks the action.
