Greenpeace Russia activists protest against the import of uranium "tails" from Europe to Russia near the Ust-Luga port in the Leningrad region. On a concrete block a few hundred meters from the shore, the activists install a 17-meter banner with the words "Russia is not a dump!"

Earlier, Rosatom planned to unload hazardous waste directly in St. Petersburg, but thanks to the protests of Greenpeace and other public organizations and thousands of their supporters, it was possible to transfer hazardous unloading outside the city, but unfortunately, it has not been canceled completely.
