Activists from Greenpeace Seoul performed to the head of the top 10 Korean conglomerates wearing face masks at the conference hall of the FKI (Federation of Korean Industries) building on July 8th. They received leadership report cards according to the survey results on how well they are responding to the climate crisis.

The heads of Korea's 10 major business groups declared that their group would take the lead in ESG against the climate crisis. However, as a result of a survey for the affiliates, many companies have no plans or targets for 100% use of renewable energy, which is the most effective response to the climate crisis. Finally, there were no groups to receive high scores like A or B.

Greenpeace is urging Korean groups to set and implement renewable energy transition goals as soon as possible.
