Under the motto "Not like NRW", protesters and activists are meeting for a state-wide climate strike in Düsseldorf. Organised by Fridays for Future, Greenpeace is also protesting against Armin Laschet's anti-climate policies in North Rhine-Westphalia.
In NRW, a new coal-fired power plant has been connected to the grid, wind power development has come to a standstill and entire villages have been sacrificed to destructive coal mining within four years.
