Greenpeace Italy carries out monitoring and documentation to assess the state of the health of the sea by diving into the depths rich in biodiversity. It also researches and collects samples to monitor the pollution caused by plastics and microplastics in the oceans. Together with people from Gargano's marine protected area, plastic waste is collected from the beaches during cleaning activities.
