Armaro Rodriguez in Cape Verde
Armaro Rodriguez, Member of the fishermen association of Tarrafal - Santiago island, Cape Verde. Armaro is an active fisherman as well as a medical statistics technician. Armaro comes from many generations of fishermen. He claims that it is almost impossible to catch tuna anymore and notes the irony that the European fleets catches huge quantities of tuna each year, in Cape Verdean waters, to supply European market whilst Cape Verdeans struggle to meet their own needs.
