Illegal FAD in the Pacific Ocean
An activist from Greenpeace attaches a crane hook to a fish aggregating device, or FAD, in order to hoist it on to the Greenpeace ship 'My Esperanza' in the international waters of the Pacific ocean. The Greenpeace ship 'MY Esperanza' is on a three month expedition to expose and stop destructive fishing practices, and to protect dwindling fish stocks in the Pacific.
