Confronting Driftnet Kerguil
Greenpeace documents and confronts French driftnet boat Kerguil while a shark and a dolphin get caught in its net. The activists hold banners reading in French "No to Driftnets".
Greenpeace is touring the North Atlantic to document the damage caused by French driftnet fleets. The boats fish with driftnets mainly for Albacore, a large tuna species used for canning, but dolphins, sharks and other fish get caught in the nets and die.
