Hatfield's Ferry Climate Banner
A team of Greenpeace activists deploy a banner on the 700-foot tall smoke stack of the Hatfield’s Ferry Power Station protesting the Bush Administration's energy plan. The Hatsfield's Ferry facility is a coal burning power plant. It had been under investigation by the EPA for violating the Clean Air Act. The investigation was dropped in 2001. Greenpeace is demanding federal investment in clean energies. The banner reads "Warning The Bush Energy Plan Kills."
