Scientific Testing for 'Little Monsters' Detox Report
A scientist carries out analysis of hazardous chemicals in textiles at the Greenpeace Research Laboratories at Exeter University.
The results are included in the Detox campaign report "A Little Story About the Monsters in Your Closet." A total of 82 children's textile products from 12 brands (Adidas, American Apparel, Burberry, C&A, Disney, GAP, H&M, Li Ning, Nike, Primark, Puma and Uniqlo) were purchased in May and June 2013. Hazardous chemicals were found in all, except 6 items analysed and in at least one product for every brand tested.
