Estelle De Plaen a Greenpeace logistics co-ordinator from Belgium takes part in oil patrol outside Usinsk. An international group of Greenpeace experts and volunteers together with partner organization Save the Pechora Committee is patrolling the region of Komi Republic (Russia) to find and map numerous oil spills, clean up an oil-contaminated area, and collect case studies and experiences from the local population, bearing witness to the huge scale of the problem.
