Dave Cuthbert, Former Fisherman and Head of NUTFA
Portrait of Dave Cuthbert on the quayside in Plymouth Harbour. Dave is a former small scale fisherman and is now Head of NUTFA (New Under Ten Fishermen Association) which represents all the small scale fishermen in the UK whose boats are under ten metres.
All over the globe, fish stocks are in an alarming state due to overfishing done by large and destructive fishing fleets. A change from destructive to low impact fishing methods is the only real solution to the challenge of overfishing, and Greenpeace is working with low impact fishermen from all over the world to make this change happen.
