The Arctic 30 (28 Greenpeace International activists and a freelance photographer and freelance videographer) are currently held in Russia following a peaceful protest at Gazprom’s Prirazlomnaya platform. The Arctic 30 have been refused bail and originally charged of piracy. Russian authorities say they are replacing piracy with a charge of hooliganism, punishable by seven years in prison.
