Samsoe's Energy Academy in Ballen village. Designed to promote renewable energy, Academy hosts many domestic and foreign professionals, tourists and other energy interested visitors. Samsoe has an international lead as an energy-efficient research island, from which the Samsoe Energy Academy shares knowledge and experiences with the world. Two Danish islands, Samsoe and Aeroe became the first of Denmark's official renewable energy islands.
