Ma Jingchen, who is not yet five years old, moved from Huaibei City to Huangshan Village in December 2014. Shortly after her arrival, she contracted an upper respiratory tract infection, quinsy (a complication of tonsillitis) and fever. She fell sick six times in six months. According to doctors, Ma Jingchen is sensitive to air pollution and thus very susceptible to pollution related illnesses.
