Greenpeace clashes with French police as seven Greenpeace inflatables entered Cherbourg harbour while the Akatsuki Maru container ship was loaded with 1.7 tonnes of plutonium. The cargo, seen as potentially lethal by Greenpeace and environmental groups, is to travel 17,000 miles to Japan for use in the nuclear power industry.
