Energy Revolution Tour - Castle Peak in China
Greenpeace activists set up a symbolic wind turbine in front one of the region’s biggest coal-fired power stations, CLP's Castle Peak, as a call to governments, banks and industry to invest in clean renewable energy instead of using public money to finance climate change-causing coal plants in Asia. The Greenpeace flagship, the Rainbow Warrior, began the Clean Energy Asia Tour in Hong Kong and continues to the Philippines and Thailand to push Asia towards a cleaner energy future and to alert people to the dangers of climate change and to expose its impacts.
