Street Theatre Action at Ministry of Finance in Vienna
Activists of diverse organisations build a dam in front of the ministry of finance labeled: "Weltbank - 50 Jahre sind genug" meaning: "World Bank - 50 years are enough". They protest against the Austrian backing of projects undertaken by the World Bank that in the majority of cases have disastrous ecological and social consequences. With a street theater they re-enact the expulsion of peasants.

In einer Strassentheater-aktion werden die Szenen einer Vertreibung von Kleinbauer dargestellt.

At the same time other activists hand out symbolical eviction notices to employees of the ministry that prompt them to leave the building immediately.
World Bank is evicting more than 2 million people with their current large-scale projects, giant primeval forest areas are being flooded or cut down.
