Research Submarine in the Gulf of Mexico
Director of Coral Conservations at the Marine Conservation Biology Institute Dr. Sandra Brooke and Greenpeace Oceans Campaign Director John Hocevar are hoisted over the Gulf of Mexico in the Dual Deep Worker submarine. A team of independent scientists joined the crew of the Arctic Sunrise to conduct a series of scientific research programs that will further the understanding of the impacts of both oil and chemical dispersant on the Gulf ecosystem in the aftermath of the British Petroleum oil spill.
