Another banner shows the planet earth and says 'NO PLACE FOR WASTE'. Current event is the beginning of a preparatory meeting to the conference in March 1989 in Basel ('Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and their Disposal’).
