Bluefin Tuna Action in the Mediterranean
Greenpeace activists attempt to free endangered bluefin tuna from a large cage bound for a Mediterranean bluefin tuna farm. On the back of the inflatablea are banners reading "Stop Bluefin Extinction" and "Thon Rouge Arretez le Massacre" (Stop the Bluefin Tuna Massacre) The activists met a great deal of resistance, including the firing of flares from the fishing vessel and use of water cannons by the Maltese Navy.
