Arctic Ocean Seabed
A close up of the soft coral Gersemia rubiformis. Image taken on the little known seabed of the Arctic Ocean, north of Svalbard at 20-55 metre. The image is captured from High Definition and uncompressed video footage. The camera reveals a seabed rich in biodiversity. Greenpeace is calling for the area of the Arctic Ocean historically protected year round by sea ice to be closed to all industrial activity, including destructive fishing.
