GM Free Action and Limca World Record in Delhi
Vandana Shiva from Navdanya NGO, talks about the importance of sustainable agriculture and the need to reduce chemicals in food at Dilli Haat.
Greenpeace activists along with the support of 100,000 people, Le Meridien Restaurant, Indian Culinary Forum, Farmer's union groups and Delhi Resident Welfare groups, set a Limca Book World Record for the world's largest organic, GM Free (Genetically Modified free) Baingan Ka Bharta (aubergine mash) dish. The record is a form of protest against the proposed Biotechnology Regulatory Authority of India (BRAI) Bill.
