Volunteers serve GM free Baingan Bharta to the participants after setting a world record of the biggest GM free Baingan ka Bharta ever made.
Greenpeace activists along with the support of 100,000 people, Le Meridien Restaurant, Indian Culinary Forum, Farmer's union groups and Delhi Resident Welfare groups, set a Limca Book World Record for the world's largest organic, GM Free (Genetically Modified free) Baingan Ka Bharta (aubergine mash) dish. The record is a form of protest against the proposed Biotechnology Regulatory Authority of India (BRAI) Bill.
