Oiled Water is Threat to Dalian Visitors
Mr. Liu and his son are vainly seeking a clean spot for swimming at a small inlet in Laohutan Beach, Dalian. The oil has floated near to the shore, and Mr. Liu says that this is the first time he has seen such dirty ocean water. Usually, he says, the water here is very clean, with lots of tiny fish, but now it's impossible to find a clean area. Greenpeace urges visitors to keep away from oil-contaminated waters.
