Fishermen set off for Maodi, Jinshitan to help with the oil spill clean-up. The fishermen send out about 10 ships every day from Shandong province and the Southeastern Yangtze River region. Each person can scoop out approximately 60kg of oil each day, which will then be stored in metal petroleum barrels. The spill was caused by a pipeline blast.
