Boarding Norwegian Whaler Senet
Greenpeace activists board the Norwegian whaler Senet, 80 miles off the Danish coast, in order to stop the whaling. Five activists boarded the vessel in a peaceful protest. The activist occupied the harpoon until one of them was dragged from the harpoon and was thrown into the sea. The remaining four jumped overboard after the violent confrontation.

Actions against Norwegian Whaling in North Sea
Two Greenpeace ships, the SOLO and the SIRIUS, are involved in an ongoing direct action against this year's Norwegian commercial whaling hunt targeting the whaling ship Senet. The Norwegian government has set a quota of 301 whales this summer in defiance of the IWC worldwide ban on whaling.
