Protest Against Whaling in Stockholm
Greenpeace activist holds a picture of a harpooned whale next to a 7 meter long inflatable bloody whale in front of the Ministry of Environment to clarify the consequences of the new whale policy of the Swedish Government. Above the entrance is a large banner saying Regeringens nya valpolitik? (The new whale policy of the government?). Sweden is currently urging the International Whaling commission to allow commercial whaling on endangered cetacean species, including in areas where they are protected.
