Tokyo Two Protest in New Zealand
Three year old Jean Paris protests with Greenpeace activists, calling on the Japanese Ambassador of New Zealand to ensure there is no cover up in the trial of the Tokyo Two. They demonstrated outside the Japanese Embassy, in Wellington, displaying poster-size copies of five heavily censored documents relating to whaling reports and contracts. The documents were requested under the freedom of information act by Greenpeace lawyers for Junichi Sato and Toru Suzuki who will appear at their second pre trial hearing in Aomori, Japan, on March 23.

Tokyo Two Protest in New Zealand
Greenpeace protests outside the Japanese embassy in Wellington, displaying poster-size copies of five heavily censored documents relating to whaling reports and contracts. The documents were requested under the freedom of information act by Greenpeace lawyers for Junichi Sato and Toru Suzuki, also known as the "Tokyo Two", who will appear at their second pre trial hearing in Aomori, Japan, on March 23. The activists protest in front of the Japanese embassy to demand a fair trial for Junichi Sato and Toru Suzuki, who were both arrested and jailed for exposing an embezzlement ring within the Japanese whaling fleet. The demonstration in Wellington is among a series of Greenpeace events at Japanese embassies around the world today to demand a full disclosure of information on whale meat sales and contracts with the Japanese Institute of Cetacean Research (ICR), the agency in charge of the annual whale hunt.
