Black sediment can be found above the rubber dam of the Kuye River. Beside the “well-watered” dam, the river is running dry and water plants grow. “Serious pollution of the Kuye River is a threat to safe drinking water for the locals living in this area”, was a statement reported from the Yulin Political Consultative Conference.
