Collapsed Ground in China
Group One of Wuchenggong Village, Zhongji, Shenmu. A cliff is visible in the taupe winter field. According to a villager, this cliff is the result of the collapse of the coal gob pile; some of the cliffs can reach up to 4-5 meter high.
Due to the coal industry’s water consumption, reservoirs in the area dry up and grounds collapse with serious negative impacts on the local community.
