A crack in the wall of an abandoned house in Wuchenggong village, in Zhongyi Town, Shenmu. Cracks can be as wide as 5 cm.
Due to the coal industry and its use of water resources in the area, reservoirs dry up, grounds collapse and walls of houses crack forcing villagers to move.
