COP21: Climate March in Amsterdam
Around 7000 people representing Greenpeace and other environmental and human rights organizations, youth groups and numerous other concerned citizens join the Global Climate March in Amsterdam on the day before the Paris talks begin. They set out a call for climate justice and demand a strong, fair and ambitious global climate agreement ahead of the international UN climate talks that will start on Monday, November 30. Host for the day is Dolf Jansen, a well-known Dutch performer and presenter.
Global Climate March consists of 60 other major marches, plus more than 2,300 events, in over 150 countries on the eve of the 21st Conference of Parties (COP21) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

Ongeveer 7000 mensen van Greenpeace, andere milieu organisaties, mensenrechten organisaties, jongeren groeperingen en vele andere bezorgde burgers doen vandaag mee aan de klimaatparade in Amsterdam op de dag voordat de klimaatonderhandelingen in Parijs beginnen. De klimaatparade wordt georganiseerd door: Oxfam Novib, Greenpeace, Milieudefensie, WISE, Fossielvrij NL, Avaaz, Hivos, Transition Towns Nederland en studentennetwerk Morgen. Host van de dag in Amsterdam is Dolf Jansen en Prinses Irene is een van de duizend deelnemers die zich al hebben opgegeven. Deze parade maakt onderdeel uit van de wereldwijde People’s Climate March, waarbij honderdduizenden mensen wereldwijd de straat op gaan voor het klimaat.
