Greenpeace Nordic activists in Sergels Torg, Stockholm perform street theatre with 'sun hats' and a 'cooling tower' in Stockholm, to interact with members of the public and ask them to 'act for climate' and call on governments to take decisive action and stop climate change.

From the waters of the Arctic to the beaches of Indonesia, thousands are taking part in a Global Day of Action to demand the phasing out of fossil fuels and nuclear energy, and the transition to 100% renewables.
The Global Day of Action, under the banner of Actions for Climate, is supported by more than 100 environmental groups across the world, including Coalition Climat 21, CAN, 350.org and Avaaz. It is part of several days of activities inspired by the UN summit on the Sustainable Development Goals, one of which is the need to protect the planet from catastrophic climate change.
