Greenpeace takes a banner message to a very iconic location in the Amazon Forest, the “Meeting of Waters”, to stand against fossil fuels and ask for oil and gas auction cancellation. The banner reads "Deixe as fontes fósseis no chão. Keep Fossil Fuels in the Ground." This place is where two Amazon rivers, Negro and Solimões, meet to form the world’s largest river: the Amazon river. The image shows the beauty and richness of the region the Brazilian government is willing to put at risk in order to explore fossil fuels, an old and dirty energy source.
