Resident of a village next to the coal power plant of Can, Canakkale. She is part of a group of women who are opposing the coal industry expansion.
The existing coal power plants have already taken over farm land where farmers used to grow and sell walnuts, making a living. The coal industry has destroyed the livelihoods of many farmers and because of coal many suffer of health problems like asthma.
