Ministry of Agriculture Pesticide Action in Slovakia
The results of testing water and soil from apple orchards on pesticides residues in spring 2015 were serious enough to let Slovak Minister of Agriculture aware of it. Four activists in protective clothes came to the Ministry of Agriculture with laboratory jars of four substances: apples, soil, water and dead bees. Those were the symbols of what effects pesticides have on our environment and ecosystem. Following this activity, Greenpeace office in Slovakia received an invitation from the Ministry to talk about pesticide reduction policies.
