'Protect the Oceans' Human Banner in Morocco
One hundred and thirty Greenpeace MENA volunteers are involved in the creation of a human banner in Tangier, Morocco, to send a message to the world to protect our oceans.
A banner reads (in Arabic) 'Ocean Sanctuaries Now!' and the volunteers surround an art installation of a whale made from 800 used plastic bottles - created by artist Mokhtar Ghailan.
Greenpeace is campaigning for a global ocean treaty covering all seas outside of national waters and for the creation of at network of ocean sanctuaries covering 30% of our global oceans by 2030.
