Artist Mokhtar Ghailan, reveals an art installation of a whale made from 800 used plastic bottles. The piece formed part of a human banner created by Greenpeace MENA volunteers in Tangier, Morocco, to send a message to the world to protect our oceans.
Greenpeace is campaigning for a global ocean treaty covering all seas outside of national waters and for the creation of at network of ocean sanctuaries covering 30% of our global oceans by 2030.
