Greenpeace and representatives of various groups are outside the Royal Courts of Justice before the appeal hearings for five Judicial Reviews of the government’s Aviation National Policy Statement, which gave the go ahead for Heathrow expansion. Greenpeace’s Judicial Review was brought together with Hillingdon, Wandsworth, Hammersmith and Fulham, Richmond upon Thames and Windsor and Maidenhead councils, joined by the Mayor of London. The four other Judicial Reviews, heard concurrently, were brought by Friends of the Earth, Plan B, Mr Neil Spurrier and Heathrow Hub Ltd.
