Alex Pancik is a resident of Nymboida, NSW. He almost lost his home in the bushfires that devastated the local area, but luckily his next door neighbour managed to defend his property.

The whole community is pitching in to help survivors of the fires. Alex is cooking up a BBQ at the local fire and rescue hub.
