Greenpeace activists protest at the Laguna de Aculeo for urgent and ambitious action on climate.
They place a huge danger road sign in the dried out lake.
The Laguna de Aculeo is a lake which used to be full of water and biodiversity. In only few years it has run dry, illustrating the worst impacts of the climate crisis.
At the upcoming COP25 (2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference), we demand that Governments:
- Move to step up climate action immediately
- Prove they have heard the demands of the youth and the people
- Move forward to enact a socially just climate transition that leaves no one behind.
