Greenpeace and Star Wars stormtrooper visit Leeds VW in climate change protest.

Greenpeace volunteers swarm across forecourts in six cities, Glasgow, London, Newcastle,Birmingham, Bristol and Leeds covering display models of VW cars with black sheets before holding sit-in protests at the dealerships and speaking to members of the public about VW’s environmental record. Despite branding itself as a green car company, VW lobbies against key environmental laws, while it fits its cleanest technology to just six per cent of its cars.
