Over the summer of 2019/2020, Australia has been ravaged by bushfires across the country. Eleven million hectares have burnt, over a billion animals have perished, and the tragic loss of life and property has been immeasurable.

Renowned Australian fashion photographer Cybele Malinowski captured the aerial view of some of the fires whilst on a commercial aeroplane flight between Sydney and Melbourne.
