Protest at Amazon Logistics Center Winsen near Hamburg
Greenpeace activists demonstrate on Amazon Prime Day at the Winsen an der Luhe logistics centre against the destruction of new goods. Around one third of the goods returned in Germany from the online trade are not sold directly again and some are destroyed. They are demanding that the German government introduce a Resource Protection Act.
The activists place a 27 meter long lettering from shipping cartons, which forms the words "for the garbage bin". They changed the logo of the online mail order company with banners to the hashtag "#amazoncrime".
A crane places the letters on the roof of the logistics centre.
