A young girl gets oxygen treatment due to thick haze from forest fires, at Ranu Welum haze shelter in Palangkaraya city, Central Kalimantan. This year's nearly 2,000 wildfires are burning across Indonesia. It is the worst year since 2015.
Officials estimate that the fires have burned more than 800,000 acres. Greenpeace criticized the government for not taking action against the companies that set fires to clear land for agriculture purposes.
