222.000 people in the Netherlands and Europe have signed the petition which is delivered to the Parliament by Sum of Us and Greenpeace representatives. They ask the government to vote against the usage of glyphosate, an important component in the herbicide Roundup made by Monsanto. According to the World Health Organization glyphosate can cause cancer. In a week the Second Chamber in the Netherlands will vote about this subject. The Dutch choice can be important for the European policy, earlier this year the EU postponed a decision.
